The move will be seen as a snub of Russian President Vladimir Putin, since the last four Olympics saw far more senior administration officials in attendance. And adding to the in-your-face decision, the U.S. will include an openly gay athlete, Billie Jean King, among its luminaries when the Sochi games open – in defiance of Russia's new national anti-gay laws. She branded the jab sexist in an interview with magazine  Vanity Fair  on Tuesday, and suggested the pair will go to 'hell' for the comment. She wanted something very simple so she ended up purchasing a bridesmaid dress and asking for it in white. The staff at this particular store made it so difficult for her to order this dress that she started crying. Her fiancé had to physically remove her from the situation and take care of the transaction. Awful right? Or how about the story featured in the Toronto Star yesterday which showcased a store on Spadina that took brides money for dresses, then closed up shop and left them empty handed?
