Sing Along With the Gamer Edition of John Lennon’s "Imagine"
Today
in Speak Up on Kotaku we're going to put all of the arguing and hate
behind us in favor of a good old-fashioned sing along, courtesy of
commenter JesusChrist, one of the few people qualified to rewrite a John Lennon song.
To the tune of John Lennon's "Imagine":
Imagine there's no fanboys
It's easy if you try
No flame-wars in the comments
It'd be heaven, don't you lie
Imagine all the consoles
Sharing all their gaaaaaaames
Imagine there's no exclusives
Nothing for trolls to use
Master Chief in Super Smash Bros.
And no religi- err- Why is the sky blue?
Imagine Megaman Legends 3!
Seeing the light of daaaaaaay
You may say that I'm a heathen
The economy will crash!
Monopolies will rule us!
And the fans will be as one!
Imagine that Valve
For once could count to three
Or that Microsoft
Released a new Banjo Kazooie
Imagine that Nintendo
Didn't make the Wii Uuuuuuu
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday this all happens
And the fans will be as one!

About
Speak Up on Kotaku: Our readers have a lot to say, and sometimes what
they have to say has nothing to do with the stories we run. That's why
we have a forum on Kotaku called Speak Up.
That's the place to post anecdotes, photos, game tips and hints, and
anything you want to share with Kotaku at large. Every weekday we'll
pull one of the best Speak Up posts we can find and highlight it here.
