Creative & Unique DIY Scottish / Japanese Barn Wedding

This wedding was all kinds of wonderful ~ intimate and creative, laid back and fun, and lovingly hand and home made from the ground up. (If you missed Part 1, I highly recommend you check it out.) Elsbeth and Chris decorated their barn in Fife, Scotland, with a Japanese ‘zakka’ theme which resulted in an eclectic mix of rustic, cute, colourful and kitch DIY decor. Elsbeth said: We decorated old jars and bottles to serve as centrepieces. We put candles in some, wild flowers in others. There were SO many bottles! A vintage  wedding dress  swathed in tulle and wild flowers served as a charming candy buffet display and their burlap wrapped ‘matrimocha’ favours were displayed in a wheelbarrow! While performances from their talented musician friends, including an apt rendition of ‘singing in the rain’ for the couple’s first dance, raised the barn roof.
