Beatles DJ features web exclusive Birds of Paradox track

Beatles DJ Ken Michaels is featuring an exclusive track from a supergroup formed called Birds of Paradox, which includes involvement from several artists connected to the Beatles. Formed at a party thrown by May Pang, the band is fronted by New York singer/songwriter Jeff Slate, founder of The Badge, that since 1997 has released 4 albums, many singles, EP's and live bootleg sets, and became known as darlings of the UK/European "Mod" scene of the 2000's. The new album "Birds Of Paradox" is his first album of solo-material.  
Birds of ParadoxAlso included in the band are two former members of Elephant's Memory, who recorded the "Sometime In New York City" album with John Lennon and Yoko Ono, as well as their own album "Elephant's Memory" for Apple Records which Lennon produced. The band performed with John and Yoko at the now historic One-To-One benefit concerts at Madison Square Garden. Both bassist Gary Van Scyoc and keyboardist Adam Ippolito from Elephant's Memory play on the new album. Together or apart they have worked with such luminaries as Neil Sedaka, Keith Moon, Jerry Garcia, Gene Cornish, Paul Simon and Kool and the Gang. And then there's Steve Holley, the last drummer in Paul McCartney's band Wings. Steve previously worked with Elton John before joining Wings, and later worked with Julian Lennon, Ian Hunter, Jules Shear and others. Finally the group includes guitarist Jimmy "Mack" McEggliott, who's performed or recorded with many music legends like Tommy James, Gene Cornish, Denny Laine, Will Lee, Carlos Alomar, Dennis Diken, Marshall Crenshaw and many more, a dynamite combo right there! For Beatlefans, their forthcoming album will also include appearances from Wings guitarist Laurence Juber, and the album was mixed by John Lennon engineer in the 70's, Dennis Ferrante.
