John and Yoko RKO Interview December 8, 1980

On the afternoon of December 8, 1980, John and Yoko sat down to an interview with RKO radio at their home at the Dakota. This is a 10 minute excerpt of that interview. John discusses the album (Double Fantasy),  adjusting to being back in the studio after a 5 year absence, Sean, and describes in detail his and Yoko's first meeting at an art gallery in London.

After this particular interview, John and Yoko would hop into a limousine to the studio to put the finishing touches on her song "Walking on Thin Ice". A few hours later; while walking from the limo to the apartment after returning from the studio, John was murdered outside of the Dakota.

The photograph above is the rumored to be the last photo of John Lennon. The man in the photo is one of the interviewers from RKO radio. After the photo was snapped, John and Yoko get into a limousine to head to the studio.
