John Lennon and the Beatles made quite an impression and have
influenced people’s lives one way or another up till this day. Whether
it is the original versions or remakes we keep listening to their songs
on the radio, we keep buying their CDs and they keep popping up on sound
tracks to all kinds movies to mention just a few of the ways in which
their legacy lives on.

Today John Lennon is being remembered all over the world, 30 years after Mark David Chapman shot him four times in the back, right at the entrance of the Dakota Building in New York City. An act that deprived the world of one of the most prominent musicians.
This year, Lennon’s widow, Yoko Ono revived the Plastic Ono Band along with current rock stars including Lady Gaga. Ono told Rolling Stone she believes this rekindling interest in Lennon “has to do with the social climate, with wanting some of John’s energy, power and conviction.”
Her annual December 8th charity concert, took place at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo with fifteen acts performing at the show and all its proceeds going into funding 12 schools around the world.
So if you have a Beatles album or favorite song, play it today in honor of Mr. Lennon. That could be the perfect soundtrack to the fun and excitement of our daily promotions!
