Sacha Baron Cohen cast in Les Miserables

Another A-list actor has signed on for Tom Hooper's Les Miserables, as Sacha Baron Cohen adds the film to his list of interesting roles...
Here's another lovely bit of casting news from the Les Miserables camp, which has now added British comedian Sacha Baron
Cohen to its list of star players. The actor will be playing Monsieur Thenardier, and presumably breaking out the French accent  he used in Hugo.
Tom Hooper's film adaptation of the musical already has an amazing line-up, currently consisting of Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter and Eddie Redmayne. Cohen has been itching towards musicals for a while now, as he's also working on a Freddie Mercury biopic.
There's also next year's The Dictator and Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, so it looks like we won't be able to avoid him for a while. It's a nice mix of roles too, as he's edging towards more serious acting while not neglecting the style of comedy that made him famous.
